Use 3-4 coats of Emulsion for mid-range residential jobs, or use two coats of Emulsion under two coats of StreetShoe as an upgrade to get the ultimate in beauty and durability. Best of all, Emulsion is a water based hardwood floor coating, so there's no need to evacuate the building while working, and no messy solvent cleanup when you're done. Just use water for cleanup, as you would with any other water based coating.
