Basic Coatings Emulsion has what many waterbased coatings do not—warm, rich, amber tones of an oil-based finish coupled with the fast drying, low odor of water based floor finishes.. Basic's Emulsion is self sealing (yes you can use it as a sealer), VOC compliant, and has an oxidative cross linked urethane system that produces better wear propeties than traditional oil finishes. No mixing is required.
Recommended Basic Emulsion System: Two coats of Basic Coatings Emulsion followed by two coats of Basic Coatings Streetshoe will give your project excellent wear protection for many, many years. This system is ideal when you are seeking the warm, honey-colored tones of oil based floor finishes. (For those who don't want oil based amber tones, consider substitution of Basic Lock N Seal for Emulsion.)
Approximate Basic Emulsion Coverage : Basic Emulsion covers approximately 500-600 square feet per gallon.
