Floors with only
modest wear on the top coat but which are
otherwise in good condition and just need a new
coat of finish to restore the original sheen and
newly finished appearance.

refinished using this process you should consult a
wood floor re-finishing professional in your area.

contaminants such as oils, waxes or other
non-polyurethane finishes.

Floors with deep
scratches, gouges, water stains, heavy wear down to
the wood or other severe defects which can only be
removed by the traditional re-sanding and
re-finishing process.

with non-Bona finishes.

PRE-FINISHED
FLOORS - Important :
If your floor is pre-finished with Aluminum Oxide,
Ceramic or another non-polyurethane finish, the Bona
Prep and Recoat System can ONLY be used in conjunction
with Bona - Traffic or
Bona - Strong as the
top-coat.

If you are re-doing your own polyurethane coated floor, we recommend using
Prep with Bona Kemi -
Mega. Mega is a
very durable finish widely used by professionals for residential
applications where durability is required.
