The Powernailer Model 45R multi-blow T&G flooring nailer is a ratcheting version of the popular model 45 single blow T&G nailer.Because of its ratcheting mechanism, the model 45R is easier to use than the standard model 45, requiring less effort to drive the nail. Like the model 45 it is designed to nail flooring without splitting the tongue or damaging the floor surface. One or more mallet blows drives Powercleat nails into tongue and groove flooring at a perfect 45° angle, while countersinking the nail to the proper depth.
The model 45 uses 1-1/2", 1-3/4", and 2" Powercleat nails and can be used to nail 1/2", 3/4", and 33/32" tongue and groove hardwood flooring through the use of easy-to-change adapter plates.
